《肚子有風》 講述凌霞與她的挪威男友 Jason 從挪威回到香港，探望共同患有痔瘡的父母和妹妹。這次探親逐漸轉化成一次家庭治療的嘗試，身體的不適成為通往家庭創傷與長久沉默的入口。
在影片中，痔瘡不只是單純的醫療問題，而是一種家庭共同症狀：疼痛、尷尬、反覆出現，也承載着照顧、遺傳、沉默與未被處理的衝突。身體成為家庭歷史存放的地方；當某些事情一直沒有被說出來，痛楚便以另一種形式回來。
透過 Jason 這個既是伴侶、也是外來者的角色，影片製造出一個尷尬而微妙的翻譯空間。親密、羞恥、移民經驗與文化差異，在飯桌、家居、近似治療室的場景與香港城市之間流動。家人嘗試談論自己的身體，也同時嘗試重新理解彼此。

Whispers in the Belly follows Ling and her Norwegian boyfriend Jason as they return from Norway to Hong Kong to visit Ling’s parents and sister, all of whom suffer from hemorrhoids. What begins as a family visit gradually becomes an attempt at family therapy, where bodily discomfort opens a path towards long-suppressed emotional wounds.
In the film, hemorrhoids are not treated only as a medical condition. They become a shared family symptom: a painful, embarrassing, and recurring bodily problem that carries traces of silence, care, inheritance, and unresolved conflict. The body becomes a place where family history is stored, and where pain returns when it has not yet been spoken.
Through the presence of Jason, an outsider to the family and to Hong Kong, the film creates a space of awkward translation. Intimacy, shame, migration, and cultural difference move through the dinner table, the home, the clinic-like therapy setting, and the city. The family’s attempt to speak about their bodies becomes inseparable from their attempt to speak about each other.
Whispers in the Belly reflects on illness as a form of family language. It asks whether a shared symptom can become a way to gather, listen, and begin again. Between humour, discomfort, and tenderness, the film imagines therapy not as a clean resolution, but as a fragile rehearsal for saying what has long remained inside the belly.
